Today we're going to be taking a look at part number UF48-979022. This the Ultra-Fab steel mini-roller for trailers and RVs. The unique roller is designed to weld onto the frame of your trailer or motor home, and that's going to prevent the tail from dragging and digging in while backing up. This is made from a heavy duty steel construction. It's very strong, very durable. Again, it is designed for a weld-on installation.
With this part number you're going to get the bracket, you're going to get the actual steel wheel, you're going to get the bolt, two washers located on each side of the wheel, or one located on each side of the wheel. Two washers total, and a lock nut for the other side. This part number is going to include one roller assembly. If we take a look at some of the dimensions real quick starting with the overall height, that's going to give us a measurement of 2 and 13/16 of an inch. Now the wheel diameter is going to measure 2 and 1/2 inches. The wheel width, that's going to give us a measurement of an 1 and 1/2 and then when it comes to the bracket, measuring this direction, outside edge to outside edge, that's 2 and 5/16 of an inch.
Measuring this direction, outside edge to outside edge is right at 2 inches. That's going to do it for today's review of part number UF48-97922. This is the Ultra-Fab steel mini-roller for trailers and RVs. .

We've all drug the tails of our trailer a time or two. I feel much better after adding these rollers onto my 24' aluminum enclosed car trailer!
These are weld on type wheels and this one has bearings in it along with a grease fitting. I however did not use this on a vehicle. I used this on a wood working table that I made that has a center leg with a tongue jack in it with this wheel attached. Now I can crank up the jack and move my table anywhere in the shop and up by my saw as an out feed table. I purchased another smaller version for my router table cabinet that I am about to build. Great product by the way!
This product was exactly what I needed to prevent my cargo carrier from grinding away on grade changes. In order to maximize clearance, I only used the bolt and roller. I cut a rectangular hole on the bottom rear of the main frame tube, drilled a hole for the bolt and the roller slipped right in. After a year of moderate use, there is hardly any visible wear. This has definitely saved wear and tear on my cargo carrier.

I now roll instead of scraping.
Was heavy duty and works good
I haven’t used it yet but it looks sturdy enough for what I’m going to use it for. I’ll be using it on a super truss receiver to prevent the device from bottoming it out so we’ll see.

Needed these for my 20' dove tail car trailer. Got tired of it dragging tail on grade changes. All that scraping was annoying and causing damage so they are very worth the money. Good solid, simple, design and effective for the price. And as always Etrailer exceeds their own policies, got shipped early....nice bonus.

Paul, I bought 2 one for each corner of the trailer at the back.
Added 3 of these rollers to the rear frame and hitch on our 2021 Sanibel fifth wheel, that rides very low on the back end when hooked up. These have helped us several times coming out of steep driveway and backing up into a driveway.
These caster wheels are exactly as advertised and made of strong heavy gauge steel. They welded on nicely to the rear frame of my toy hauler. I have yet to see them in action, but they should save my bumper and rear stabilizer jacks from being ripped off. I ordered several items at the same time and it took 2 weeks to get half the order and 3 weeks to get the other half.
I am super happy with these wheels. They help me drive up an incline without having to worry about scraping the ground.
Ordered to be welded on the prop guard for my inboard tournament ski boat! Installed and work great!
Very well made ,installed easily using mig welder.Welded it under the trailer hitch reciever. Takes alot of abuse and still works well when the others had failed completely after a few months.Used on 87 Toyota 1 ton full size RV.
I have a drag bar under my boat trailer to protect the prop on my ski boat. I placed four of these wheels on the drag bar and they work great. only problem I have is my weld did not hole on two of them and I lost them, so I need to order two more. product is great.
These work great. After a year of use they still look great with very little damage. I have them on a 44' cargo trailer that sits low to the ground so they get tested often. I am very impressed with these and would recommend them to anyone.
I am using these to make a equalizer frame for a inground automotive lift that I have at my repair shop. The lift is 30 years old but in excellent condition the equalizer overtime had rusted at the bottom finally broke it's made out of heavy I beam. The rollers will be use to keep the frame from moving inside the encloser that the equalizer moves up and down with the lift. The lift is a twin post which is the reason for the equalizer. The replacement is available from ManuFact sure for $1200. I bought the material for less than 200. That's etrailer for the great product and service. Looks like just what I need to weld to my drop hitch. I'm towing a mini-van behind a motorhome and had to get a 10 inch drop hitch which drags on the asphalt at times. The Mini- Roller seems to be well made and of good quality. I'll send a picture when done.
Super fast shipping and a great product. Purchased these wheels to weld to the underside of the rear end on my 40' enclosed gooseneck trailer due to it dragging the ground when I get off the road onto hilly areas trying to get back in the woods where we camp. I was able top ull out the pin and wheel and add it to the existing skid wheel mount on my camper.
Wheels have worked well and have not bent or deformed when the trailer has bottomed out on steep driveways.

Peoduct is working great. It protects my trailer on steep driveway. Also prevents scratches in my driveway.
